Problem

Event organizers across Africa still sell tickets through physical cards, bank transfers, and WhatsApp screenshots, leaving them exposed to fake and duplicate tickets, blind to real sales, and stuck with slow, manual entry checks that frustrate attendees and cost revenue.

Solution

SmoothTicket digitizes the entire ticketing flow. Organizers create events and sell tickets online, buyers receive branded PDF tickets instantly, and a live dashboard tracks sales and attendance. The dashboard comes with a dedicated scanner for validating each ticket, replacing WhatsApp screenshots, physical cards, and manual checks with one reliable system.

Results

In its first run, SmoothTicket has powered 20+ events and served more than 500 attendees, paying out over ₦1M to organizers. Tickets reach buyers instantly, entry is verified by the dedicated scanner, and organizers see sales and attendance live from their dashboard.
