Problem

Organizers still run pageants, talent shows, and awards with manual voting: votes arrive over phone calls, direct messages, or cash handed to agents. There is no single source of truth for who is leading, paid votes cannot be tracked or verified, and the lack of transparency leaves contestants disputing outcomes. Collecting and collating votes by hand is slow, error-prone, and hard to monetize.

Solution

SmoothContest moves the entire contest online: organizers set up their contest, every contestant gets their own voting link, and supporters vote and pay in one place. Payments are collected directly, revenue is tracked in the organizer's dashboard, and a live leaderboard keeps audiences engaged until the final result.

Results

SmoothContest has hosted over 20 contests and paid out over ₦4 million in revenue to event organizers in the last year.
